Watercolor Card Inspiration
One of my favorite past times is watercolor. It is super relaxing and isn’t to hard to get the hang of. I will share some art soon. I’m planning on making some print and cut watercolor pieces for you all to download but until then I have some watercolor card inspiration and ideas. When I make cards it is super easy to just throw some watercolor down and create a beautiful background. A simple watercolor background is a great starting point. You can add sequins, stickers and stamps to make it special.
Watercolor is easy to blend. You can add more than one color and get them all to blend together nicely creating a rainbow of colors. Not only do they look artistic but they add color variety. Matching sequins help to bring out the colors.
For the easiest card stamp and emboss a sentiment in the middle. The embossed part of the card will resist the watercolor and you can just fill in the background with as few or as many colors as you want.
I encourage everyone to try a watercolor background for a card. You can also use them on scrapbook layouts with some stunning results!
