Shabby Chic Printable Scrapbook Mini Album
Christmas is right around the corner and if you’re anything like me you may still need a couple of gifts. Money is a little tight around here so I often fall back to hand made gifts. I wanted to put together a shabby chic printable scrapbook mini album that could be made by anyone with a printer, some scissors and some adhesive. This printable scrapbook is so easy to make you could do it with your kids. The album consists of six shabby chic pocket pages each with an insert. It has plenty of room for photos, embellishments and journaling. I designed it so that it could be used for a variety of different occasions. I think the papers look very nice for birthdays, Valentine’s day, spring time and any so many other occasions.

Supplies:
- Printed mini album pages
- Scissors
- Grid ruler, you can also do this with a regular ruler
- Your favorite adhesive
- Chipboard, heavy weight works best but use cereal boxes
- Bone folder (optional)
- Trim or ribbon (optional)
- Tyvek Envelope (optional)
- Acrylic Paint in Black or White (optional)
- Score board (optional)
- Hole punch, awl or paper piercer (optional)
- Needle and thread (optional)
- Hot glue gun (optional)
All of the optional items are not required to make this scrapbook. The instructions are detailed enough to let you know what to do if you do not have any of the optional items. The spine of the album is gorgeous and features a corset style tie.

What kind of paper do you use in order to print the designs out. I am new to scrap booking and I do not know if regular paper will “cut” it. I want that thick texture.

Recently I’ve been printing on presentation paper and I love it. You can get it in matte or glossy and it prints beautifully. The one I get is 44lb paper. I buy it from Amazon here is a link http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004TS2I/
I love the album and I love the print and cut. Way easy. Do you ink your edges? Absolutely beautiful. I can see embellishing with all kinds of shabby chic stuff… buttons etc. Good job.
