Mother’s Day Card and Sketch #1
Pssst, don’t forget about Mother’s Day this weekend! Mother’s day is quickly approaching on Sunday, it’s definitely a day I don’t want to ever forget about. I love my Mom and I’d feel terrible if I’d ever forgot it. It’s been a long time since I posted a card sketch so today I have a Mother’s Day card and sketch so you can see how I transformed a sketch into a real life card.
I did the sketch first and then made the card based off of it. Card sketches are really nice to Pin to Pinterest because if you’re ever stuck on a card layout you can look through them for inspiration and layouts to adept to your own style.
My finished Mother’s Day card is a mix of pinks, blues and greens. I used scraps for most of the pieces but I’m pretty sure they are all from one of my favorite designers, Heidi Swapp. I believe this are all from the Sugar Chic collection. All of the papers go perfectly together, you really can’t go wrong with this stack. If you have a Tuesday Morning nearby, check it out. I can always find discounted scrapbooking supplies and I always see Heidi Swapp paper stacks and embellishments at Tuesday Morning.
